Check WAEC RESULT: This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the 2022/2023 West African Examinations Council (WAEC) May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) that they can now check their results online.
Earlier, I explained how to upload awaiting SSCE result on Jamb portal. In this article, I will give you the steps to check your Waec score for this year.
Has WAEC released the 2022 WASSCE Result?
Yes, the 2022 WAEC results are out and now available online.
Mr Patrick Areghan, Head of Nigeria Office, WAEC, said on Monday at the WAEC office in Yaba, “The results are being uploaded on the councils’ result checking website.” Candidates who took the exam and met their financial obligations to the Council will be able to access their results on the Council’s results website within the next twelve hours.
“Copies of the Result Listing will be distributed to schools in the near future.” I don’t need to say it again: the results of candidates sponsored by debt-ridden governments will not be revealed until they pay up. We urge them to do so so that affected schools/candidates can obtain their results.”
He further stated that some schools failed to upload their students’ Continuous Assessment Score Capturing System data on time, while many others failed to meet registration deadlines, resulting in some schools not presenting their students for the examination.
“However, several parents who registered their students offline failed to upload their entries!” This demonstrated an intolerable level of nonchalance. Others, once again, missed deadlines owing to criminal ‘shopping’ for candidates. “By the time they realized what was going on, the opportunity had closed,” he explained.

How To Check May/June Waec 2022 Result Online
You don’t need to purchase any scratch card/pin to access your result. Candidates are to check the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination for their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.
- Go to WAEC result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org ↱
- When it loads up, proceed and type in your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
- Select your Examination Year (which is 2021).
- Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
- Enter the Card Serial Number.
- Enter the Card PIN.
Lastly, you click on the “Submit” button to get your WAEC Result.

How To Check Waec Result 2022
1. Buy WAEC scratch card
2. Go to WAEC result checking official portal at www.waecdirect.org ↱
3. Enter your center number and seat number in the required space. Your registration should look like this: 4310963***
4. Select the year you sat for the exam i.e. 2021 or 2020
5. Select your exam type i.e. Private candidates Result. Or school candidates Results
6. Finally, enter your scratch card pin and serial number in the required space and then click submit to view your result.

How to Check WAEC Result With Your Phone Without Internet (Offline)
To check your WAEC Result with a mobile phone, you will need to buy the WAEC Direct Scratch card(Price is about N500). Then send a shortcode in the format below.
“WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327″.
I will try to make this simpler, if your 2021/2022 WAEC Examination number is 78965432, your PIN is 123890, and you sat for WAEC in 2021, send WAEC78965432123890*2021 to 32327.
NOTE: Checking 2021 WAEC result via sms costs N30 and is available on Glo, Airtel, and MTN networks.

How many times can I check my result?
You may check your results up to a maximum of 5 (five) times with the use of 1 (one) Scratch card. In order to check further after exhausting the allowed 5 (five) times you will need to purchase another Scratch card which will entitle you to another 5 (five) result checks.
Can I use one scratch card to check more than one result?
No! You may only use one Scratch card to check one result. To check another result of interest, you will require a new Scratch card. If you misuse a Scratch card by attempting to check another result different from the first one checked, you will be penalised as having used the card, and will be presented with the appropriate error message.
Can the result checker card bought in the previous year be used to check result of the current year?
A result checker card purchased in a previous year is still valid for use in the next year but note you can only use one Scratch card to check one result. To check another (different) result, you will require a new Scratch card.
