3. Learn how to draw
Drawing is actually a basic skill that we were all born with. While we have to be taught to read and write, people are actually born with the natural ability to draw.
Drawing is awesome! If you are like my friend “Jude” who spends a lot of hours with his little pen drawing whole lot of crippy and great images, you will probably be making cool money just like him.

4. Write a Book:
If you’ve always wanted to write a book but never found the time or inspiration, this is your chance now that you are home. You don’t really need a publisher.
These days you can self publish your book in the form of an e-book. You can equally upload your book on Amazon via Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and if your book turns out a best-seller, you can earn good passive income from it for life. Isn’t that interesting?
5. Study Ahead
By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”Benjamin Franklin
If you can, get the course outline from your department in the school and start studying ahead of time. Do not wait until school reopens to start studying.
Many schools will likely rush through the semester or session so they can meet up with the next academic session and this means there may not be enough time for students to prepare for the exams.
6. Learn Photoshop
I love Photo editing! Everyone should know some Photoshop basics. Learning Photoshop is an important tool if you want to work in graphic or web design or even just use it at home for your own pictures.
You can learn Photoshop if you work in a hands-on marketing role. For example, if you create flyers, email newsletters, knowing Photoshop will help you optimize your creations and re-touch all the old images in your gallary.
7. Become a Reader
One quality of all successful men is reading books. As students, there are various books you can read that will help shape your minds for a great future.
This is one skill I would say is the most important of all the skills on this list. When you read, even if it is just fiction, you learn and expand your worldview. You visit places you may never see and learn about skills you might otherwise never take the time to learn.
Get in the habit of reading through things. Articles, blurbs, drafts, books, and volumes of material are all worthy of your time.
If you can’t decide which book to read then you can consider these all-time classics; Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, The Diary Of A Young Girl, by Anne Frank, After reading you will love this books!
Students should not use this period as an excuse to become idle. There is a need for you to understand that whatever is happening now will go with time. Make use of this opportunity, learn a new skills.
